Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future – Robert H. Schuller
Some of you are long-term single, wondering if you are ever going to get your chance at love. Some of you are in a relationship and you keep fighting the same battle, questioning if this is right for you. Some of you are going through another heartbreak, and you wonder if this is ever going to be any different. Not to mention those of you who feel like you can’t face another date without a spark.
Added to this agonising situation, you are looking around and seeing all the loved-up couples, you are seeing time tick away quicker than usual, you are grieving all the shared time you don’t get to experience with your crush, you are focused on what you do not have, and you have either lost hope it is going to happen for you, or you are holding on to what hope you do have by a thread.
I get it, you can’t be bothered to swipe through the apps, you don’t want to go on the dates that don’t work out, and you really don’t want to risk getting hurt.
You want a meaningful love life, which is fair enough!
But to invite that in, you first have to have a meaningful life for yourself.
You are going to hold space for a happy relationship when you are operating from a higher energy. A place of love, hope, and abundance. And besides, you want to be hopeful because it feels nicer!
But faking it doesn’t count. Nope, you have to live truly from a place of joy and happiness.
But how do you do that when all you want is love, and you’ve convinced yourself it is never going to happen? Where does happiness fit in? How do you find hope when you are clouded by doubt?
